I am looking for a song that got alot of air play on modern rock stations about three years ago.

It is a rap song that was redone by a couple of guys who sang the song as if it were a folk song. Alot of acoustic guitars and harmonies .

I can?t remember too many of the words, so I can?t help much there. What I do remember is your usual rap fare .? Drinkin? 45?s?and ? rollin up in my ride? stuff like that.

If anyone has a clue as to what I am talking about please tell me the name of this song or group so that I can download it.

I think I know exactly what song you're thinking of. Only problem is, I have no clue who sings it, nor can I think of any more lyrics to it. But it was like a rap song redone in the folk/alternative/indie-rock style. I've done a bunch of Google searches on snippits of lyrics, and also searching for stuff like rap folk remake, but I can't come up with anything :(

{EDIT} I found the song I was thinking of, it's "Boyz-N-The Hood" by "Dynamite Hack" from the album "Take a Bite Outta Rhyme: A Rock Tribute to Rap"
