I picked up the iPod armor about a month back and found it quite usefull for protecting my 3g, 10g iPod.
The only problem is that the Armor is disigned for all makes of the iPod. So if you put a 3g ipod in, it tends to float around in the case.

So I wanted to buy some foam to pad the case more. But the only stuff I could find was too thin. I had to put 3 layers to get the iPod not to move in the case.

So my question to anyone that the Armor, do you have this same problem and what did you do to solve it?

Thanks for any help.

Are you using the spacer that came with it?

Mine fits a 40gb 3G nice and firm. A small pad was included which one adds to the case if using it for any other model of Pod.

My case never came with any spacers, but good news is that I contacted the company and they will send me some spacers.

I think they should come out with an Armor case that is made fore the 3g iPods so that we could have a little slimer case.

Well, even the 3G iPod's are different thicknesses, with the 30/40GB iPods being thicker than the 10/15/20GB models. So they'd have to make two different versions for the 3G iPods.

Well they could have a slimer case for the 3g, if they just dont apply the padding to the lid. Then when you get the case you just apply the thinner pad if you have a 30, or 40gb iPod. If you have the 10, 15, or 20gb iPod, then you apply the slightly thicker pad.

Just some ideas
