Hello, very stupid question, I am sure it's been asked before but I could not find the answer searching throught the many posts. Anyway, I have an Ipod which I love, My friend just got an Ipod and does not have her computer running at this time. She would like to have my playlists and music transfered onto her Ipod. I am running Windows XP with Itunes being the brains behind my music selections. Is there any problems doing this? Will I screw up my seetings that I have on my Ipod & Itunes? Will my friends Ipod be recognized by my computer and when she gets hers operating again will there be any problems in the future? Any help, Info would be great! Thanks for your time with this matter!

If she connects it to your computer, you can go ahead an let iTunes auto sync with her iPod or you can set it to manually sync and just drag the songs she wants onto her iPod. This will not cause any problems with your iPod or iTunes setup.

Then, when she gets her computer, if she wants to auto sync with it, it will wipe out any songs on her iPod and just copy over the songs from her computer. If she sets it to manual sync instead, she can then manually copy any songs off her computer to her iPod while maintaining the songs on it from your computer.

Awesome!! Thanks for the info! Another question, can she use the songs on her Ipod and put them in her computer?

Once again thanks for the help!
