sync itunes with ipod

all of a sudden all my music and playlists were deleted,
still have my mp3's but no playlists in itunes (it looked like reinstalled)
now i want to sync my itunes with my ipod, bring al the songs from the ipod to my itunes, including playlists...
but how... :(

I think your iTunes db got corrupted. (You can transfer songs from your iPod to your pc through windows explorer. Look it up in the FAQ/Tips&Tricks section if you dunno how to do it.) Then import the songs to your iTunes library. I don't think you can recover your playlists, though. You have to start from scratch. Ig nore the instruction in parentheses if your music files are still in your pc's hdd.

i know but do i have to make all my playlists over again :-s
can't i get the lib file from the ipod.
