Alright, Its time for all you lilipod and armor enthusiasts out there to argue over which one is better in the subjects of shock protection, usability, looks, etc.

Well...out of the two, I say that the iPod Armor is cooler just because it looks ten times better. But I wouldn't buy either! I'm waiting to buy OtterBox's oPod. It allows for usability through the case! It's water-resistant like the Lilipod and offers the same level of shock protection. Their customer service is also superior. If I were you, I would wait for an oPod!

how is it water resistant if it allows control of the buttons?

I believe it uses some sort of water-resistant membrane over the buttons so you can still use them, but it keeps water out.

Well, the iPod itself isn't really designed to be waterproof, nor is it really water-resistant. With that said, a few raindrops likely won't damage it but I wouldn't go white-water rafting with my iPod unless it was sealed in some sort of waterprrof bag/case.

Still, the oPod does look pretty cool.

i think that apart from the hold switch, the headphone and remote holes, and the dock connector, the buttons and the screen could very well be waterproof. they seem pretty sturdy, and the 'pod might hold up against water if it were kept away from the holes in the top and bottom.
