AAC from Windows (iTunes 4.5) to iPod (3G 20GB)

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get an iPod in a couple of weeks after saving up for ages.
One thing is slightly annoying me though at the moment I have heard from various sources that a windows formatted iPod does not support the AAC format from my iTunes.
This is extrememly irritated me as for the last couple days i have been converting all of my previous WMA's and MP3's to AAC's.
As far as i know I don't think there's any way you can convert them back, but anyway thats nopt my point. I just want to know wether a windows formatted iPod supports AAC.

they all world with ALL iPods regardless of your platform, whether its PC, MAC, whatever.

your conversions are not all at a loss!

oh and also i just checked out your lego dock and the incar ipod holder! they're pretty damn cool but maybe you should reconsider the way your'e life is goin cos thats pretty sad!!
