Hi. Anyone have a case to recommend for running with my iPod? I have the Marware sportsuit and don't like it much (top strap blocks phone jack, difficult to put on, still not sure if case is attached to strap properly). Something waterproof would be great - I sweat a lot and sometimes run in the rain.
A good headphone recommendation would be great too.
Thanks.

ya, ive been wondering the same thing myself... but im kinda worried about my ipod shaking like that for 60+ miles a week, i mean, its 3 months old and something already sounds like it rattles inside, i dont want to continue that effect

I have the XtremeMac Sportwrap (armband case) and I love it. Some hee thik the Teski case is better. the only downside ot the sportwrap is that the headphones at first are hard to plug in (though if you read he directions and put the ipod in top 1st, it isnt so bad). ALso some say the sportwrap is too small.. For most women and small to average men, I think it is proabably fine. (there is an extension that you can use if you have big arm that comes with it)
For headphones I use the Sony MDR-G57. These are not ear buds they sit pretty well on the ears and have never come close to falling off. They even have a refelctie orange patch on each ear.
My Ipod seems to be doing OK with the running. It hasnt skipped once so far (I usually run 30 minutes or so a day)

Personally, I recommend the upcoming oPod. I can't wait to get mine! It's at http://www.otterbox.com. Click on iPod products.

Thanks for all of the advice. I too have never experienced a skip while running - maybe I'm not running fast enough. I will look into the cases.

65 dollars for that opod thing (with the arm band??) seems a bit excessive. Plus it seems to me that the Sportwrap provides better support that the teski or opod. Granted i only have the sportwrap, but the sportwrap covers the ipod on all surfaces, Plus the ipod is securely kept in place by the neoprene cover that rests against your arm.

i have the incase sport waistpack..its a neoprene wistpack that safely holds your ipod while working out in the gym or running...i wrap the sports pack around my waist under my t-shirt or tank top and voila, nobody knows i have it on...Its a great case and i never had any problems with it. its very comfortable when i go running with it
