I like the form factor of the Triports, but I can't justify spending $150 on them. Are there any other closed headphones around the same size?
What about the Sony Eggos? Are they much larger than the Triports?
I'm also interested in the Grado SR60. How do they compare (Size)? I'm kind of concerned about looking like "Special Ed" wearing these around town though :)

First, the SR60 isn't closed, so they're not the best headphones for wearing around town since they'll leak a lot of noise out and let a lot of noise in. Secondly, the cord on the SR60 is pretty long and thick, and isn't really conducive to portable use.
If I were you, take a look at the listing on headphones.com:

That should give you a good idea of relative sizes and prices.
As far as the Eggos, they should be the size you're looking for. I guess they're not fully closed, though... they let external sound in, but don't leak the music out. I haven't had any experience with them, though, so someone who has could probably chime in.
most of the sennheisers are around the tri-port size, and they come in a wide range of prices.

OK, I just decided to go ahead and get the Grado SR60s after reading all the praise everywhere about them. Not too crazy about the look, but they're not all that bad.
Thanks for the help :)
