Hi everyone, I recently bought a 40GB iPod and I'm very happy with it. However, I seem to having some problems with iTunes. The first problem is this: it doesn't seem to be able to get the info of CDs that I put in. I click Advanced | Get CD Info and a little status bar pops up but it closes and the track names don't change. I thought it might be a problem with the CD not being registed with CDDB or something but using WMP or RealOne Player, they are both able to get the track info of the same CD. Has anyone else has this problem? I'm using iTunes 4, now could it be that the new version could fix this?
And also one more question but it's not so much technical but because I can't figure it out: I have lots of CDs that I wanna put on my iPod, if I import them using iTunes, are copies of the CD tracks put on my hard drive as well as my iPod? I don't have tonnes of space as it is all taken up with college and work stuff and can't really afford to have redundant copies of my music on there. What I've done up until now is copy the music using RealOne and added the tracks to the library. But when I delete them, iTunes removes them from the library and then when I sync my iPod they are removed! Is there a way around this?
Sorry for the questions, I'm sure people have experienced what I have and would really appreciate some help! Thanks a million
