Be honest here guys!

It's only been a few days but I have to say that until now things are rather smooth in our 2-pod household.

Needless to say I anticipated that getting us both a personal iPod would be a definite must, especially seeing that we both have diverse music tastes (he loves jazz, I love rock)

While waiting for mine to arrive we shared one and I was always telling him off for leaving it on its back without the case. Now I don't care cos' I have my own to take care of.

Of course we do argue about who gets to play their pod's music in the car: George Adams or Rage against the machine.
And he gripes about the quality of my ripped music - his is always perfect...

Thank goodness you have two now so maybe the arguments will stop.We are a two ipod family also it helps having the extra plugs and cords that come with two ipods. So both of you enjoy your ipods or I will send you to your rooms without your ipods for a few hours.:p

Tried to get my hubby to get an iPod, but he's got a Nomad Zen (20 GB). We're both happy, and in fact I often hook up (via headphone splitter cable) to his Zen to listen to his tunes (instrumental soundtracks & classical music) in the evening along with him.

My stuff's in AAC format, mostly. If he wants a copy, he can re-rip it to MP3 at his preferred bit rate. :)

My husband gave me my first iPod for my birthday last week, but I have found him several times lurking around it, giving it the eye, and I have found his incriminating fingerprints all over it! I think I see us becoming a 2 Pod household in the near future :D

Perhaps you could compromise with Lounge Against the Machine (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004Z40S/ref=ase_crazyapplerum-20/102-1335329-1048156) by Richard Cheese? ;)

compromise is really the key word guys. We're settling into a nice we-take-turns-whose-music-is-played-in-the-car mode. And we tend to play stuff we both like like drum n bass.

But my hubby definitely says that the ipod is one of the best presents I ever gave so all those in doubt try it out! 2pods rock!
