Just got my Ice Link and installed it in about 2 minutes. (Kenwood after market head unit w/ CD changer controls).
It works GREAT!
I'm a little dissapointed, though, because I ordered the Xterra Pro Clip mount for it at the same time on Dension's site but I guess they ship separately and I didn't get the mount yet.
The only question I have, and I guess this would apply to any charging system, is that even w/ the ignition off and the key out of the truck the unit is still getting power from the head so it will charge if I don't unplug it.
I wonder if it would eventually drain my battery even w/ such a low amp draw. I know the iPod stops charging (or at least goes to trickle charge) when it's full but I just don't want to run down the battery if it sets for too long.
It's very cool because the icelink turns the iPod off when you switch to a different source (tuner, Aux, etc...) and shuts it off completely when you turn the engine off so you don't have to worry when you run in to the store, etc...
So far I'm extremely pleased w/ this product!
