Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Hello,

I know it may sound like a redundant question, but you never know what the answer may be.
At present I am using a line out to connect to my MP3 CD player ( Man and I used to think that was the sh*t!! til I got my iPOD that is ..hee hee)

I have a buddy who uses an FM transmitter on his car and it sounds great. You can crank it up high and it sounds awesome.

With my line out ( Belkin, but I read Monster is better so gonna buy one today), I crank it up and it gets a little distorted. I checked my amp level on the Belkin; fiddled with the volume and EQ on the iPOD but the same thing, some distorted, fuzzy, bass disrupting audio vomit. So I thought it may be my speakers. I ruled that out when I played an MP3 cd and cranked it; my speakers sounded just fine.

By the way, my Belkin gives out a sh*tty buzz/hum in the background. Perhaps unrelated, I hate the way my AIWA MP3 CD player prompts me with beeping and a display asking me to remove the line out even after I shut down my truck.

So what's the better sound quality?
FM transmit or Line Out?

Thanks in advance.
