Jeep Cherokee Install

I just bought my very first car...a 93' jeep cherokee. The funny thing is, while looking for a car instead of asking "how many miles?" i seemed to ponder "where's my ipod going!!!". Obviously I love mine and it has to go in the car. I found the perfect place, and wanted to post on here how I did it, in case someone needs this. Hope you enjoy it, this will show it from beginning to end.

There is a place I intend to cut out in my jeep..and put the dock below it...and run a monster cable to the AUX in of my headunit behind the dash. I should have my stereo completely installed by next weekend..and the ipod will be done tom. evening.

Ok, it took 5 hours...and I have a new appreciation for my dremel tool. It isn't quite as nice as I would like but it will do. Pictures aren't loading so I leave you in suspense until tom evening.

yes, a dremel tool is a great thing to own.

I realized today I am not completely finished...I am gonna get some rubber and black caulk and fill everything in so it looks even cleaner.

is it just me, or is your ipod leaning to the right?

In those pictures..it is. I just didn't have it inserted into the dock completely. I should have it the way I want it in about a week, so I can take more pictures then. I assure you the dock is level, however it does appear that way in the pictures.

Also, my shifter is a little off center, so I think that puts off a false vibe for the pod
