Minidisc to ipod?

Any ideas on how i would get music from my minidisc collection onto my ipod?

you *could* get a md player with usb hook-up, and then drag all the songs into itunes.

But I'm afraid that if you can't do it like that it's rather impossible I think. You don't have the original CDs anymore? I had a huuge md collection but basically I had the songs on a CD as well.

Unless you have the new version of minidisc you can't do a data transfer from minidisc to a computer. What you have to do is record out of your minidisc into the line in on your sound card. You'll need audio editing software to record and edit with. That's the only way. If you want to get fancy you can get equipment to use an optical cable for a true digital copy, but it's expensive.
