looking for suggestions or help for a hard wire install in an 03 sentra se-r.

I have the rockford system with cd changer - both stock - both in dash.
Not sure what I am getting into, so looking for anyone that may have done this already before I start breaking stuff.

any help is appreciated - thanks

Interesting situation...you have a stock radio that isn't really stock...

My suggestion is to look around, hard. I haven't seen ANYTHING for a rockford system, but then again, that's not what I was looking for. Question...is your cd changer in-dash or not? Believe it or not, that makes a big difference. If it isn't in-dash, you might want to get one of the docking stations that allows you multiple hookups, including the CD changer. Most aux input adapters render a non-dash cd changer useless.

Basically, check the major sites www.rcainput.com, www.myradiostore.com, www.logjamelectronics.com, and then just use some search engines and see what you can come up with. You also might want to try crutchfield, their selection of aftermarket aux input adapters isn't half bad.

Also, before you search, pop out your radio and see what hook ups it has in the back. Sometimes guides refer to radios bases on the number of pins in the open slots, so it would be good to know. Not to mention, you might get lucky and have RCA inputs right in the back of your head unit. Best to know exactly what you're working with before you waste any time.
