How do audio books appear in iTunes?

I have not yet listened to an audio book on my iPod. However, my public library offers many titles on CD. I was thinking about uploading one of the books into iTunes. However, I was curious how this would appear on iTunes and the iPod. If there are seven CDs in the series, do they all fall under one title? Or, are books typically divided into subtitles or chapters?

I'd guess that you won't like the result if you upload an audio book from a CD. If the CD book is divided up into tracks, the result will be just like a music CD: each track will show up in iTunes (and on the iPod) as a "song."
