sony head unit .. can it be fool with isolator ?

just wondering .. my sony head unit (M600)
got bus aux input in the back
it's only work with cd changer ..
if i to use ground loop isolator thru ipod
would the head unit think it's my cd changer ?

i think $100 for aux converter is pretty pricey

Unless the M600 has a feature called "aux lite" then you can't fool Unilink. You can get a converter for less than $100 if you look around on the internet. I've seen the XA-300 go for as little as $50.
