I'm new to the Ipod scene, but I'm drooling over the new 30 Gig unit. Unfortunately I don't want to upgrade to Win2000 or XP (don't ask). I have a Win98 machine with a FireWire card. Is there a stable drive that will support the 30 Gig Ipod on Win98 platform?

You need to have 98SE as this is first Windows Operating system that supports Firewire.

As long as you have 98SE you should be fine.
