Anyway:
I have a Compaq Presario Laptop, model 711AU. It comes with an extended warranty [return to base in Australia]

AMD Duron 1GHz CPU w/PowerNow! Technology
256MB RAM
20GB Hard Drive
24X CD-ROM
14.1" TFT Active LCD Screen
16MB S3 Twister Integrated Graphics
Floppy Drive
2x USB Ports
2x PCMCIA
1x each of Serial, Monitor, PS/2 Ports

Mic/Headphone Jack
JBL Pro Speakers
It comes with an extended warranty bought through the retailer.
I have just had the computer serviced, and the HDD was replaced and the screen repaired, so it is in top notch condition.
The warranty is valid until 31.01.05
It is in pretty good condition cosmetically, but the Mic Jack is missing a silver ring [for decoration] and the paint on the outside where your wrist sits whilst typing has worn off a little.
