Couple of questions, including ICE-Link

Okay, I have a couple of questions about the ICE-Link cradle from Dension.
First of all I'm looking into getting a Kenwood KDC-MP6025 head unit which, as far as I can tell, has CD Changer input and thus works with the ICE-Link (feel free to correct, me if I'm wrong)
My guess is that I'll want to have it professionally installed, does anyone have any opinions on this?
Also I'm looking at a bracket that fits into one of the vents at the top of my center console, but I'm worried that in the winter I'll cook my ipod with the heat. The vents don't close, so this is a concern.... Any input would be great.

Okay, no one responded to my questions, which is fine because I think I've managed to answer them myself.
I do have one other question about mounting brackets, though.
I've decided that I don't want to risk cooking my iPod with the vent bracket, which leaves me with the bracket that comes off the right side of the head unit. I'm wondering if anyone has their ipod set up like this and if it's convenient?
Is it possible to comfortably change songs and see the screen?

Thanks for any input you can provide, I'm really excited about finally integrating my iPod with my car.
