I have numerous pieces from a 1st generation iPod to sell to a good home that can use them to piece another broken iPod togther. All items are sold 'as-is' and work unless noted in the description. I know that the HD can be used in any 1st or 2nd generation ipod, same with batteries, but do not know about display. Prefer only PayPal payments. 1. 5gb hard drive (with free ribbon cable) - works great
2. DEAD mother board with original moving & WORKING scroll wheel (the motherboard wil not recongnze the battery or HD, but the scroll wheel works perfect as you can use it to run the internal test modes and scroll around and button clicks work perfect and scroller is smooth and perfect - just the board is dead)
3. display with ribbon - works perfect
4. iPod body - fine with expected scratches and blemishes. no cracks, just normal wear and a few dings in the aluminum back piece.
5. a battery - works fine - charge seems fine
6. another battery - works fine - charge seems fine
