Which is better quailty?

I want to hook my ipod up to a JVC KD-LX111 (if possible, anyone know?) with a AUX input adapter. And use the monster icables (are there better ones?). The real question here is, Would the Monster icharger w/ lineout or the ipod dock lineout be better for the sound quailty? I have a 3G 15GB ipod. I have been looking through the forums for a week or 2 and have seen many posts on how the Monster icharger hisses or something. Any input on the subject at all would be very helpful.
