I am getting an iPod very soon, and was wondering do i need to get anything extra to be able to transfer songs from my windows pc because i here about Firewire etc and i dont know if it will connect to my pc and USB 2.0 does not come with my ipod, so what do i do ?!

To sync your iPod with your PC, you either have to use Firewire or USB. The iPod comes with just a firewire cable. So, if you don't have a firewire port on your PC, you have two options:
1) Buy a firewire card for your PC (I'd recommend the Adaptec 4300)
2) Buy the Firewire/USB iPod cable from Apple
