new ipod, need opinions

just received my new ipod from apple.com in yesterday's mail.

charged it today while heading to the store for the doggone usb 2.0 adapter . . . and to buy a usb 2.0 card

and. . .

well i've got windows 98!

does this mean no ipod for me?

now what?

I can't believe there are no work arounds for this. . . .and I can't believe I did not know this BEFORE spending all this money!

any advice?

Well, a few pieces of advice.

1: Upgrade. Win98 is really old.

2: There is a iPodlounge FAQ (http://www.ipodlounge.com/faqs_more.php?id=3003_0_10_0_C) about this. Read up a little next time before you blindly post.

3: Research next time! I did, and it led to me picking up a Firewire card because I didn't know the SB1394 standard wasn't the same to IEE1394!
