I have my library synched with Windows Media Player, mostly because of the automatic ID3 tagging. Is there anyway that WMP can sync with my 3rd gen iPod (Like through the portable devices tab)?

As I know iPod plugin isn't available yet. However, you can point iTunes to your library and make the job done.

if you get the software XPlay, you can use the iPod with the WMP
I've got Xplay 2.07 and Windows Media Player 9, and I can select a playlist and us the 'copy to device' copy button - the mp3 tracks copy to the iPod just fine, but the playlist itself is not added to the playlists on the ipod.
When I try to export the playlist as a .m3u file and then drag-copy it (again with Xplay installed) I get a wierd dialog box asking me what playlist to add these songs to, then an error when it figures out they're not songs.
So how do I get my playlists from WMP9 to the iPod? Shouldn't the copy playlists do this (with Xplay installed)? Thanks for the help.

What format are your songs in? I can't tell in the OP.
iPod doesn't support .wma files.
Files are MP3. Files transfer fine. I just want to get the Playlists to show up on the iPod as playlist choices. -DPAM
