Mini's storage capacity

i got the mini and it said

capacity: 3.7 GB
Available: 3.5 GB

im just wondering is that correct? do everyone else have the same amount available?

what the hells taking up my space?

the program inside the iPod/ firmware and stuff...on my 15gb iPod only 13.8gb are free for music.

On another thread someone said that it is because there are two ways two measure memory...and once you hook the iPod up to the computer it converts to the other way....same amount of space though...i dunno if this is true do a search on the forum if u want to know more

You could always sell your mini.....they are getting good money like $350, but i think that's new. There are a bunch of people on this board that are looking for minis...look at the classifieds
