On in Dock...Always?

I was just curious if there was any way to turn the ipod off while it is docked and charging. The only reason that I ask is because that I am worried that the screen will burn in, or the pixels will die faster for the "Do not disconnect" and "Ok to disconnect" messages. Just curious if it is harmful to the ipod for this to just stay on the screen for the four hours that it takes to charge.

I don't think LCDs can get burn-in :confused:

The screen can't burn in like older CRT's (and some newer Sony TVs). There are no negative effects of having the screen on while in the dock.
