Hi
I know the Sik Imp connects to the iPod dock, but my question is does it have two connections for left and right to connect to the hifi or just one 3.5mm mic style one. Really I need one with the left and right style connections whatever you call them, but I'm using a skin and don't want to use the iPod dock if I can help it.

It has a "line level audio output (3.5mm stereo jack)" according to the web site:

Correct, you'll need a mini-jack => RCA cable if you want to use it with other components (receivers, amps)... although some portable headphone amp simply accepts a mini-jack as well.

I have a question about the similar Sik dim product, the one that's just for the stereo not the car. I don't quite know how to put it, but is the stereo jack designed so that you can plug a line out cable of your choice in it and then that cable into your stereo or is it actually a cable that plugs directly into your stereo. It just seems an odd connection to have on the end when many hifis don't have this so does anyone have one who can tell me?

Din is exactly the same as Imp. Except it doesn't come with the car charger. The car charger on the Imp is detachable, the Din simply doesn't have the charger in the package.

Both has a line-out that gives you a mini-jack (1/8", female, not a "plug" that you can just use right away), which you have to buy other cables to connect to whatever stereo equipment that you need to use it with.
