hey ya'll... well, i know that iskin mini came out, and it looks great, and i may order one...but the only thing i don't like is how it takes away the natural "look" of the ipod mini. i want a case that will protect my mini, along with retain the original style and sleek "mini-ness."

Lajo's exo3mini case does a great job at that...but my question is for you lajo mini case users...is:

1) are the cases durable

2) does the exo3mini ship with the wheel protector

3) does the exo3mini protect the screen?

4) how would you rate lajo's service? (shipping times, contact times)

5) overall quality of the product

your feedback is greatly appreciated. ;) :p

I haven't ordered an iPod mini case yet and have been looking at either the iSkin mini or Lajo's exo3mini. I'll answer what I can.

2) does the exo3mini ship with the wheel protector
Yes, the case itself covers the wheel.

3) does the exo3mini protect the screen?
No, but the iShade is a separate screen protector for $3.50 each (comes in different colors).

I'm leaning towards getting the exo3mini because of how thin it is. I don't want to increase the bulk of the mini because I like to put it in my pocket.

I'm also interesting in getting the iShade to protect the screen, and the TwistClip since I like to clip it horazontal sometimes. I may also get the armband from Lajo when it comes out for running (depending on how good it looks).

I was really into the iSkin mini until i realized it's thicker than the exo3mini. The accessories from Lajo covers everything that I liked about the iSkin mini.

I cant help you with the first question, and the second and thrid were allready answered. But i can help with the other.

I've bought from Lajo in the past and shipping time isnt too bad. They get shipped from China and take from a few days to a week or so to get there.

And i think the overall quality is very good. They are quality silicone cases.

But keep in mind that this was a while back when i bought some of the first exos. Things may have changed since then.

1) the silicone is durable, but only as durable as 0.7mm can be.

2) the exo3mini has 0.5mm of silicone covering the scroll wheel.

3) the exo3mini doesn't have a screen protector; i bought some PDA screen protectors and cut them to fit the ipod screen.

4) ordered "ice" color, shipped within 4 days and received within 5 more. no contact was needed, and order confirmation stuff was immediate (i'm assuming it was automated).

5) overall quality is, say, 4 out of 5. it's important to remember that it's pretty thin to begin with, and you're sacrificing "protection" for "form."

i, like you, was drawn to how this preserves the natural form of the mini as much as possible for a skin, so the choice for me was easy. the price difference was also an issue, and obviously i'd prefer to go no skin, but i've dropped my mini so many times that i feel one has become somewhat of a necessity.

luckily, i did not fall victim to some of the horror stories i've heard concerning lajo's business coderie. based solely on my personal experience, i'm inclined to recommend both the product and the service.

best of luck to you.
