HELP! Lost my Playlists on iPod...

Hi! This problem happened to me at least 3 times. I use ephpod, but i don't believe it matters. After uploading songs on my iPod, when i disconect it, almost all my playlist are gone.... The songs are all saved on my iPod, but now exist only 2 or 3 playlist instead of 15 or 20... Now i have to rebuild it manually which is a long and hard work. Can you halp me, to restore my old playlist??? Why did it happen? Thank you very much

When you're done uploading stuff to the iPod, do you simply pull the cord out of your computer, or do you unmount it first.

normally i unmount my ipod. but last times, the firs time i tried to unmount it, didn't work. after several time, finally unmounted, but i lost all my directories!!!
