Charging using SB1394 on Audigy card

I have an Audigy MP3+ card with a SB1394 Firewire port at the back.

Despite what I have read on this site it works great, transferred all my songs in no time with no issues.

I just have 1 question. Does my Audigy SB1394 Firewire port also charge the iPod like Apple Firewire ports do?

If it's 6 pin (which I'm almost positive it is), then there is no reason why it shouldn't charge. Next time you plug it in, look at the battery meter, it should do the charging animation.

It is 6-pin and the charging animation does run.
