We have a regular iPod and a new mini. We run Panther and iTunes 4.2. Never have had a problem updating the Reg. iPod, but after installing all mini software, I get to the point where it asks me to attach the mini so it can be updated... I do so, but the software acts like it can not see it. I know that it is hooked up correctly because I can see it come up as a storage device in the background. Thinking that I might have a defective software version, I have downloaded same from the Apple site... same results. I am beginning to think that one can not run both a mini and a regular iPod from the same computer. Any help or advice would be appreciated, I am ready to call it quits!!! Thanks! Tom
