Hi guys,

Fellow iPod owner and first time poster here. Very informative website with a wonderful community and I'm glad to be here. Anywho, onto my problem. Just today I received my iSkin eVo for my 3G 20gb iPod and everything went well until I got to the screen protector installation part. I examined the piece and noticed that the four mini soft pegs that rest against the iPod's screen weren't soft at all. They are just as hard as the rest of the protector and have a very rough or jagged feel to them, enough to scratch my pod's screen I figured. Needless to say, I didn't install the screen protector.

So my question to eVo owners is, how soft are the "soft pads" on your screen protector? I'm thinking mine is defective and will e-mail iSkin's customer support first thing tomorrow and request a replacement. Thanks for reading and any input is appreciated.

Regards,
Prism

That is exactly how they came with mine as well. The four "feets" on the screen is relatively hard... however they are made from a different, rubber material. They will not scratch the surface of the iPod, and stay in place very, very well.

However, on my shipment, my screen already had one of the four feet falling off... (they're just attached with glue to the underside of the screen). So one of the corner isn't "attached" anymore... Grrrr..

Anyway, use the screen, don't worry about it.

I got one an the screen seems to be o.k. Not sure but the feet pegs do seem soft as can be I suppose.

i just got mine today as well, and i love it

the feet do seem hard, but the material they are made out of does not scratch the ipod...it just skids against it...may make some skid marks but it doesnt seem to scratch

AYe...got mine last week...

The feet are dabs of silicon, I believe..not much, but seem to do the job nicely...firm, but not as hard as the screen protector itself
