Hey ya'll. I have this interesting google hack I found out for you all. Enjoy!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Go to Google's Advanced Search Page: http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en
2) There are 4 blank fields at the top of the page. In the first blank, "with all of the words", put whatever song/artist/style you want to find.
3) In the second, "with the exact phrase", put "PARENT DIRECTORY".
4) In the third, "with at least one of the words", put ".mp3 .wma .ogg" (any file format you want to search for you can include here).
5) In the fourth, "without the words", put "cd debian linux" (this helps filter out useless pages).
6) Search!

These are instructions for if you want to search for mp3's. You can use this method for software, movies, images...the possiblities are endless. Just leave the "PARENT DIRECTORY" and "cd debian linux" fields the way they are, and change the other two to reflect what you are looking for.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It works. Also works with other things -- movies, games, etc. I havn't tried it with them, but I'm sure it's possible. Found this off of another forum. Have fun google'ing
:D

ROFL.

I'm sorry but if you need to use this to get mp3s you are out of your mind.

To all the real pirates this is a good quick laugh.

Hmm I tried to find an Eric Clapton song and instead turned up a picture of a muscular naked chinese man called Dreamboat!?!

I think I'll stick to what I know!

lol

guys, let me make this clear. this is not for a primary substitution for other great p2p downloading apps. i barely ever use this. it's just a cool thing. you can use it when you don't have a p2p or a file is hard to find. didn't want to get flamed... just wanted to post a tip. it can be useful sometimes.

pretty smart solution, but I guess downloading is still easier with a P2P like Direct Connect, but if you at school and dont have any download programs this could be a nice method if you want to download a couple of songs.

IRC is the best for everything. I'm actually GameSurge staff, but we dont allow warez, so no mp3 downloads on that network! ;)
