I bought a DLO Jam Jacket from Bestbuy for my 15GB 3G IPOD and was surprised to see all the lint that it collects. Apart from that, the only thing it is missing is something to protect the screen.

However, from what I've read on here, it seems the Lajo and Iskin cases have the same problem with lint as well.

I was wondering how come the DLO isn't compared with the other two brands? I only found one thread regarding the DLO and it was mentioned awhile back.

So anyways, they are all made from silicone...the DLO is 1.5mm thick so it's between the Lajo Exo3 and the Iskin EVO.

The only advantage I see of the Iskin EVO is the screen protector (like the DLO, it doesn't protect the buttons/scroll wheel either)

On the other hand, the Lajo Exo3 protects the buttons, but it doesn't protect the screen.

So what are the pros/cons of the DLO Jam Jacket? Also, does the Evo and the Exo3 have problems with dirt collecting on the inside and thus, possible source for scratches?

You are forgetting, there are more than one versions of Lajo's products. The exo3 is mainly intended only to protect from scratches. The better case (imo) is the exo2 from Lajo.

Eitherway you can protect your screen on either of lajo's cases by using an iShade (which can be bought off of his site).

The Lajo exo2 and exo3 pretty much protect the iPod from getting dirt inside of it. Sure, it could theoretically get in through the dock port or headphone hole and screen (but if you buy an ishade you won't have that problem), but it's highly unlikely.

IMO it'd be easier for grit to get inside the case from the DLO jam jacket or Evo as they dont' have covered buttons or scroll wheel.

I do have to add though that the Evo provides probably the best screen protection. It has the hard screen protector that'll keep your screen protected against nasty sharp objects or hard objects impacting into the screen.

Lajo's screen protectors will protect against small sharp objects and scratches, etc; However It's not going to protect it from shattering if it gets hit with something hard.

Personally I'm stuck on the Lajo cases right now. Mainly due to the button/wheel coverage along with the ammount of colors available.

Here's a list of options with each company:

Lajo:
-eXo3 + iShade
Offers screen protection and light protection against scratches, etc.
-eXo2 + iShade
Offers screen protection and light shock protection + really good scratch protection.

Note: With the lajo cases you'll have to buy any accessories seperately. This will make the case about the same price as the evo if you add in all the accessories that you need. However, it's setup in this manner so that if you want multiple colors of cases, you don't have to pay extra for the same accessories that you already have. Thus you can buy just the case for a cheaper price, etc.

DLO:
-Jam Jacket
Offers really good scratch protection but no screen protection or button or wheel.

iSkin:
-Evo
Offers about the same protection as Lajo's exo2 cases except they offer better screen protection.
Does not have covered wheel or buttons.
Does have beveled button to make it easier to access buttons, etc.
Has dock port protection built in.

Note: With the eVo product, everything comes with it. The price is about the same as Lajo's eXo2 case with all the accessories if you add it all up.

I'd say your decision should be between the Lajo eXo 2 or iSkin Evo. Maybe even the eXo 3 if you need only protection from scratches. Go through a checklist of what type of protection matters most to you and then decide. Both companies have great products and each one offers a slightly different type of protection.

i got the lajo exo2 plus ishade plus zip case plus belt clip on ebay, for $20,, its a GREAT deal for what seems to be a good case (ive had it one day). the 4 buttons are a bit hard to press, and if it annoys me too much, i may trim them out. the screen protector works great, and the silicon is good, hasnt picked up ant lint yet either..
the dock port on the bottom can stretch up and around the bottom so it can be docked, and all holes except the hold are easy to get to..
so far, i like it! :)

All these cases will pick up lint depending on how you use them. I have the Jam Jacket and prefer it for the protection it provides. I use a PDA screen protector and have no scratches on my iPod at all.

In response to the following few posts, i believe that the eXo3 is probably the best case. If you're looking for protection it's probably likely that your not throwing your ipod around or putting it close to sharp objects. With this in mind, think about how much protection you really need.
I've got the dlo action jacket and it's got the accessory works and what not but it's to bulky to stick in your pocket. I don't place the ipod in my pocket that has keys so it eliminates the possibility of comming in contact with hard or semi-sharp objects.
It's also unlikely that you're going to drop your ipod repeatedly so the "extra" cushioning just allows you to be more care free, which you shouldn't be when you're handling an ipod.
to sum it up, the exo3 + ishade offers ultimate protection (with some user care in mind) than any other cover.
