I'm craving McDonald's. I haven't had it in like 2 months now. The more I think about their food, the more it makes me want it.
Yeah, yeah I know it's unhealthy to be eating McDonald's but come on, two months.

[becuase of strepth throat <sp> i couldnt eat anything other than shoft mushyness] then 2 days ago i switched back to regular diet after gettin better.. only to get a heat stroke and end up throwing up spread out for 2 days.. and today im back to normal, thnkgod. back to normal diet for the win!

It happened at a swim meet. I was warming up and touching the bottom of the pool (14ft deep) and didn't notice the bulk head and as I was coming back up I hit my head on it.
For those that don't know the bulk head is like a movable wall in a pool. In a 50 meter it can be moved to make it a 25 meter pool.

I discoverd them while doing a project in Ukrainian drama.
They are a pretty good Ukrainian band. It's a mix of pop and rock. I like 'em.

My boss just emailed this to me it is really interesting, everyone try it.
How Smart is Your Right Foot?
1. While sitting at your desk (or in a chair), lift your right foot off the floor & make clockwise circles.
2. Now, while doing this, with your right hand, draw the number "6" in the air.
Your foot will change direction ...... And there's nothing you can do about it.
Interesting thing - you can do this with your right foot & left hand & also left hand & left foot.
Isn't that fun! Now you are going to keep trying it to see if you can make it work. :p

int x;
x=7;
if (x > 5)
{
printf("bye!");

else

Why don't you use the toolbars?
TTR circles are my favorite, but fillet does mostly the same thing, and you don't have to trim. Ellipses are tough the first few times. Click and hold the mouse's scroll wheel to drag the drawing around. And if your dimensions aren't working out exactly, you can edit them in Modify->Object->Text->Edit. It gets easier, especially with polar coordinates.
You'll learn. :)

So I'm very close to getting rid of my car. Belt tensioner was replaced this Sat. AC belt assembly bearing was replaced last week and they still can't find the weird diesel like noise. They are going to take apart my front end today, if it's major the Audi will be going bye-bye for a new one or a BMW and I would have wasted almost 2k in repairs, new brakes, and tires that I already had done in the past month.

A rule of thumb for car replacement is get rid of it when the AC begins to go bad. That heads off the (more) expensive bits.
whew.. so what started out as a bad day ended up very good. There was a big problem with my camshaft but the mechanic did all the labor and parts for free. It was an unidentified noise that I've been trying to have them track down for weeks. Each time they took the front apart and replaced what seemed like the part making the noise it would be better, but I would still notice it. They finally got it yesterday! My car purrs now. Damn german engineering is expensive. Maybe I should just get an S2000 next.:p

He is quite well known in the Audi community, lets me use his personl car as a loaner, and didn't charge me the last 2 times it was in the shop for the same problem (saved me about $700), so I think I trust him. These types of noises are a PITA to replicate and diagnose.

I've become quite famous around school now for making weekly blog videos and I've got about 45 out of 4,200 student fans school wide now. seems small but I'm enjoying the fame.
Some other asian dude with his crew that I think makes pretty good original ideas and great camera angling. He told me today that his videos were better. So I got footage of one of my girl friends kicking my balls. It hurt bad.

I sat down in biology today, and we got our tests back. I look at it, and it was a 94, so I was pretty impressed with myself. Then, the teacher comes back, takes the paper back, and hands me another one, saying "Sorry, I gave you Ian's by accident." So it turns out I really got a 86, which is still not terrible, but really ruined that class.

That's nothing.... I had a cell phone bill when I was travelling down in the U.S. back in March for just over $3,000. It was essentially roaming voice charges ($1.50/min when roaming in the U.S. on a Canadian plan), and roaming data charges ($0.05/kb), so it added up very quickly.
Fortunately, that was all billable back to a client, since it was all business-related for a project I was working on at the time.
Certainly a lesson of caution for those who don't know what to expect from roaming charges, however. The same usage in Toronto would have fit within my normal monthly plan. :shake:

I downloaded the free demo but I uninstalled it because the only online level you can play is Blood Gulch. I would like to play more levels. But hey, it's just a demo...

Well, it was long and painful, but I've finally managed to get ALL of Stargate SG-1 encoded from my box-set DVDs into 640x480 baseline-LC format so I can watch it on TV and sync them to my iPod.
Seasons 1 through 9 are from my own DVD sets. Season 10 from the iTunes Store. So this makes every episode aired thus far.
I'm now going to start re-watching the whole series starting with the first episode.... :)

I'm on season 9, disk 1 as far as converting them. Haven't watche it yet since I just received it yesterday and have to go out today. by the time I finish season 9 and Amazon has no information on season 10 then I'll donwload it from iTS.
:) I had planned on re-watching them as well as soon as I finish converting 9.

What did you use to do the conversion? I had originally thought of using Handbrake, but only a recent beta supports the 640x480 profile, and it's PPC only and therefore abysmally slow on my Duo Core Mac Mini compared to iSquint.
So I cooked up an Applescript to use Mac The Ripper to do the extraction and then feed them to iSquint. My Mini has been encoding it the background for the past two weeks (and I had to redo Seasons 6 and 7 due to an audio sync problem related to the MGM preface on those discs).
Then on top of it, the logic board in my Mini fried on Sunday, probably due to the heavy utilization... Of course, thanks to ProCare and the local Apple Store, that actually only took me down for about four hours :) (I dropped it off at 2pm and they replaced the logic board and had it ready for pickup by 6pm).

Sweet! Did you get Atlantis too?

"What did you use to do the convertion?"
I've been using Nero custom settings (640x480) since my Mac mini's burner drive isn't working now. I got a DVD stuck in it and now it just spins then spits the DVD out again so I have to use my PC. I don't feel like ripping on the PC then converting on the Mac.
"Did you get Atlantis too?
I odered Stagate Atlantis, season 1 and watched some of the episodes. I haven't finished it yet. I found it isn't as good as SG-1 but it's ok. Don't like it as much. I find they are trying to make the characters to similar to the SG-1 team characters. Plus I don't care for the woman they have in charge. She is all wrong for the part to me.
