Suggestions on Vaja i-Vod

Hey all. I'm considering purchasing a Vaja i-Vod for my 3G 20GB iPod, and I was looking for a few suggestions before shelling out all that dough. Should I get the belt clip version? I want to keep it somewhere where it won't get hurt by something else (IE- my pocket with keys), but I've heard the clip makes the case much more bulky. Also, my local Apple Store has them much cheaper that the Vaja website, but w/o the clip. So, I'm kind of torn. Any thoughts? Also, what are your guys favorite colors? I'm leaning towards either the White-on-Red or the White-on-Grey. Thanks for the help.

I've got a black on black with no clip. I carry it around in my pocket (along with various other things) for around 6 hours a day and neither the case nor the iPod have suffered any damage. The case is built like a tank for the most part, except for the little strips of plastic separating the buttons. Those are starting to show some signs of stress on mine.

So I advise against the belt clip, it should work just fine in your pocket.

Yeah, the case is pretty big. Lemme do a measurement comparison, I'll post it once i do it.

I just ordered a custom case off of Vaja's site (here (http://www.vajacases.com/vaja/catalogo.nsf/htmlmedia/ivod3g_comb/$file/clime_bleu.jpg)). I did choose to buy the clip.

Consider this another vote for no clip. I didn't get one....haven't missed it even once.

Much nicer looking without that stud sticking out of the back of it as well.

I do a lot of walking around while listening to my iPod, so I like to clip it to my pants.

Um, the black one Apple carries has a clip, the others don't.

Occasionally I wish I had a clip, but... I agree the smooth back looks better without a stud.
