The DLO jacket for the mini just came out - anybody have comments or can make comparisons to the Speck skin? In particular, I'd like to know the fit of both cases and which one has a better material. Thanks.

hi. i don't know about the speck case, but i have a pink dlo jam jacket. i think it fits well overall, but i don't like the screen protector very much. in fact, i cut it out since it made the screen look really dirty. :P

Good idea! I have the pink DLO jacket and I hated that the screen looks all dusty -_-

I am so going to do that right now!

i have the specks skin. It's very nice. very tight fit, but i like it that way, no chance for dust or any small rough objects to get between my mini and the skin. sometimes, even with a case, when something gets inbetween the mini and what's protecting it, with enough rubbin', it can leave a scratch. Tryin' ta get pictures up, but my camera is being ###. Also, check out this eBay ad.:

and then compare it to this:

it's got the same name, but it looks different???

Damn I like the clear jacket in that ebay auction. In fact, I just bought that and a car holder from the poster of the auction. :D

they have the same name, but they look completely different, are they the same or not?

i have the speck case and it does the trick. fits tight and seems thick enough to protect the mini from mild drops and such as well.

my only complaint is that being a protective pad case (thick rubber) it makes the mini looks bigger than it actually is! :) still no regrets, though.

forget speck's skin and the dlo jacket. iskin mini (http://www.iskin.com) is going to come out soon (hopefully very soon) and dominate. :D

Yeah...I think the iskin will kill the competition with their product.

It may dominate if the blet clip can be removed.
You wouldn't want to carry it around on your belt in the UK.
Or else be ready to fight off scallies

I just got my Jam Jacket Pro. The Jam Jacket slid on easily and doesn't interfere with any operations. The screen protector doesn't obscure the display. Both the wristband (extra) and armband appear to be of good quality. Only thing I'd change is the number of velcro attachment points on the bands. I have fairly small wrists/arms, so don't need 4 attachment points.

Compared to the Apple armband, I'm happy I got the Jam Jacket. Same feature with much better protection

I have a DLO Jam Jacket also and my only issue was the screen protector which collected dust like you would not believe.

Thanks Dorkypoopoo. Something as simple as cutting the screen protector never crossed my mind. I have a screen protector from an old batch of covers for a PDA that I cut out and it works just fine. The Jam jacket I have is the clear one and I just took it off for the first time since putting it on and it sure is dirty.
I think I am going to purchase a Iskin mini maybe in black..

Have a great day all.

Nice... very nice!

But, I wonder how do you get it inside of the case. it looks like every edge is covered.

Is this available yet? it says the 9th on the website.

Does anyone have this yet?
