Nope. The plastic screen protector had little nubs that make contact with the body of the iPod only. The scratching rumor was started by a member that was banned from the iPodlounge because he was spreading untrue rumors like this one about the iSkin cases.

I heard that rumor too. I'm afraid to take the screen off to check. But , from what I can see, it doesn't.

If you really want to make sure that it wont scratch your screen, you can purchase those pda screen protectors, cut them down a little bit bigger than the screen, then just lay the screen cover on top.

It scratched mine.. but it was my fault.. I was taking the case off and in the process pushed the screen protector across the surface of the the screen. Made a little gash... not that noticable luckily.

I second the recommendation to add the pda film under the screen protector anyway. I do it, just because dirt could get in there and cause scuffing. I want my ipod in pristine condition.

Those nubs do scratch a little around the screen on the white part. I brought my iPod on a field trip with the Exo2 case, slipped it into my pocket. Later on, when I pulled out my iPod on the bus, I discovered that the protective screen had slipped loose, and one of the nubs had SCRATCHED my iPod screen pretty badly. I am still ####ed.

iSkin EVO is an upgrade over the iSkin exo 2 in that it has soft nubs on the screen protecter so there is no possibility of scratching the ipod body or LCD!!

In addition the EVo has a new super durable plastic click/rotate belt clip, and the top of the iSkin Evo can accept an iTrip or NaviPod connection.
