I recently started an Audible Book and stopped after chapter 9 to continue later the next day. After using the ipod that evening listening to some tunes. I decided to charge the ipod mini overnight. In the AM I wanted to go back to the book and start on Chapter 10. For some reason whenever I went to chapter 10 and hit play, it kept jumping to chapter 15. I thought maybe because the shuffle option was on that maybe it-affected playback. I turned that option off and it continued to jump to 15. I also tried starting from other chapters but with the same results. I reset the ipod and still had the problem. Eventually with a little skipping and pausing, I was able to jump back from other chapters and start where I wanted. But I'm not too happy about the issue and was hoping to see if this happened to anyone else? If so, any resolutions?

Not sure what you mean when you say you "went to Chapter 10 and hit play."
The iPod doesn't display chapter numbers. If you go back to your book and hit play, it should resume where you left off.
If you are referring to the section markers that appear when you tap the center button, you should note that the bars indicating the begginning of the sections are usually not chapters, but rather at equally timed intervals throught the book, to help speed up navigation.

Oh, so its nots an "Audible" file then but just a book ripped from CD? If its an Audible file, the file extension (in Windows) will be .aa
If you are talking about MP3 files, thats a whole different story.
