lp - one single long cord (like ur standard cable)
sl - a short cable with a long extension cord that you can use if u do not have a remote

doesnt matter. theyre not gonna make a separate picture for the extension cord. lp means one long cable and sl is short with extention. period. believe wut u want but i have the sl's and they have the extension. also a certain minidisc board clarified this for me. believe what you want, but if u dont believe me, u believed wrong
