64gb ipod Wifi problem

Ok, normally my ipod has been running fine and the wifi signal was high and it could find my network. but just untill recently my ipod cant find find my wifi connection. I have to type in my network name and password and it connects will small signal even when next to router. It works like this for a while but when i put the ipod to sleep while lisnting to music the wifi turns off and it cant find the network so i have to type the network name and password again.
Does anyone know what th problem is?

Did you try resetting the iPod to see if there is any difference? How about trying a different Wifi network (if there is one nearby) to see if the same problem occurs?
