exporting contacts

How do I export my addresses/contacts from winxp pro to my 3rd gen. 20 gig ipod? I've read some other threads and still no results.

The iPod only accepts contacts in the vCard format (.vcf). Check whatever PC application you are using to maintain your contacts to see if it supports exporting to this format. If it does, export all your contacts, enable disk use on your iPod, then copy the vCard files to the Contacts folder on your iPod. That's it.

iPodSync and Anapod will automate this process as well as adding calender info.

iPodSync will also put weather and news info from the web on your iPod.
