Noticed this last night - got a new album and imported into iTunes. I had recently upgraded to iTunes 9 (9.0.0.70) and hadn't imported anything since.
The album imported fine - connected the iPod touch which connected and proceeded through the sync process (backing up etc.) then did the 'sync in progress' stage, then finished. The new album was not on the iPod - no error, nothing...
I tried deselecting an existing track (currentl on the iPod) - syncing: this was taken off. Selecting the same track again then syncing restored this track - as it is meant to. But no new songs will be synced - I've tried importing a couple more albums, but same result.
There is still 950Mb free on the iPod - a restore of the iPod made no difference - the new albums were not brought across to the iPod, but all the original stuff was!
Is this to do with the latest version of iTunes? Or is there something I can do to investigate further - has anyone else seen this before?
