After re-installing, my computer, I was lucky to have turned off my auto-sync so I kept all my tracks on my ipod. I would like to put the tracks also on my i-tunes library so can listen to them whilst at home etc. So that all my tracks on my ipod and my computer, any ideas?

Sharepod is an excellent solution for this problem.
its a very small application and really only meant to copy your music.
OR you can use Ephpod (www.ephpod.com)
OR podUtil
OR if you are working on windows, just enable show hidden files. And look in the control directory on your ipod.
