A fix for people with drive size problems!

I recently discovered that the information about capacity and space remaining on my ipod was different on the ipod and in iTunes. My iPOd stayed at one number and iTunes updated it. I was baffled by this. But i magically fixed it (mostly by luck though ;-)

Ii went into my copmuter and right clicked on my iPod drive. THen i performed a scandisk. It scanned my pod for about 1 minute and said there were no bad sectors *sigh* THen i went back to my computer, hit the refresh button and vwala! It showed the correct amout of free space in both my computer and on my iPod!!

all those french lessons at school have resurfaced after 25 years LOL : )

what i don't get is that an acronym is supposed to be shorter - but vwala and volia are both 5 characters long...?!
