I've just connected my new iPod to my laptop via a pcmcia Firewire card (6 pin).
Ipod has a big flashing circle with a cross and says do not disconnect, and there's two little arrows spinning in the top left corner. Does this mean it's doing something?
I've tried using iPod Updater and iPod Manager before opening iTunes but both crashed, with iPod Updater telling me that it can't mount iPod.
Am I doing somethinig right or does the first time always take longer due to everything having to be copied over from iTunes?
