I recently recieved a pink mini ipod. the headphones that came with the ipod are crappy and cheap! I am very dissapointed because they are not comfortable at all and do not have great sound (which i would expect both from apple). I was wondering what are the best in ear headphones? reliying on comfort, sound, and price. Thanx!!!:D

I would outline a budget. THE best earphones would cost several times your Mini.

Sony MDR-EX71SL White (http://www.audiocubes.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_30&products_id=387&osCsid=ca66478bf3229c3a6b582bd4ccb9cb30)
Or you can order the black ones but i would suggest getting the black ones somewhere else cause they are usually cheaper than audio cubes on the black.

EX71s suck. Sony E888s are great if your ears are big enough, as are Apple's in ear phones if you can get a seal (again fit can be a problem). Sennheiser MX400s are the best low budget buds.

I'd have to say it depends what kind of music you're listening to, misspinkipod. The EX71s are pretty good for their price, if you're into music that requires a bit of bass, such as hip-hop, dance or electronica. They're not so good for music that has a lot of detail in the mid-range though, I listen to a lot of rock too, and I find they lose a lot of sounds in certain ranges for that.
If you're listening to that kind of music, I'd agree with Jackonicko. Not that the EX71s "suck", but that they're beaten by a few other phones at competitive prices. I haven't heard the MX400s, but the E888s are very good. They're a little difficult to get hold of here in the sunny UK, but they might be a lot more readily available in the US.
