Songs on ipod, not MMJ, how do I delete?

New Problem with duplicate songs/artists
I know that this has been discussed numerous times and I think I've tried all those suggestions but still have the problem

I have a G3 40g, running on Windows ME with MMJ.

I've cleaned up almost every duplicate name except for one.

I have Simon & Garfunkel Essential that is causing so many problems.

ON MMJ everything appears proper. Correct spelling, correct songs., however

Two songs, one being Mrs Robinson does not appear in the correct album but will appear in duplicate in it's own album folder. On MMJ it appears only once in the correct disc. I can't figure out how to delete these songs from my ipod as they don't appear in MMJ as that album does not exist.

Discs one and two now appear in duplicate on my ipd although only once on my hard drive and MMJ.

I've deleted Simon & Garfunkel Essential from MMJ, synched, which still leaves numerous versions on my ipod (one even Simon & Garfinkel) which does not even appear in my MMJ.

Any suggestions how I can delete these from my ipod, if they don't show on MMJ?
