View Full Version : Cannot get Quicktime to work in Safari

I have a web site I go to that uses quicktime to send MPEG4 video - works fine in FireFox but when I open it in my iPod 2G is just puts a Q placeholder in the spot where the video should be.
How can I fix this?

To the best of my knowledge Quicktime is not supported in Safari you can only view youtube video which when selected are loaded into the youtube app.

I'm very disappointed with Apple... they don't even support their own video software (Quicktime) on this thing. And they don't support RTSP which has been around and the standard for ages.
Windows Mobile, which sucks interface wise, can do 10 times more than the iPod OS... I expected more.
Apple is 90% flash and 10% substance.
